Welcome to Strategies for Struggling Readers!

This site was designed as a means to present different strategies, modifications, adaptations, and accomodations that are effective when working with Tier III struggling readers, especially students identified with Dyslexia. Tier III students are identified as those who have not made significant progress with general classroom instruction or small group supplementary instruction. These students require an intensive intervention program that focuses on direct and systematic instruction designed to meet the students' individual needs.
